I've always enjoyed cooking, and I find that I keep changing my cooking style as life progresses. Guess that makes me flexible :)
My favorite things to cook
Healthy meals that are also raved about.
My cooking triumphs
My first DD was diagnosed with multiple & very difficult to overcome food allergies. I was diagnosed the same at the same time. Challenge doesn't even begin to describe the ensuing struggle to feed us, particularly when I'm a perfectionist and am picky about having food taste good too. I finally figured out a "style" of cooking that doesn't deny us tasty food and that also takes care of our health issues. Along the way I learned a lot about what is in foods and my new "style" of cooking takes so much out of our diet that doesn't need to be there - the preservatives, sweeteners, artificial this-n-thats. We have to stick to whole foods, nothing pre-packaged. So that means I had to learn to cook everything from scratch. Fast and easy was the next layer to add on and I still struggle with that. So, my biggest triumph is that I have the healthiest child on the planet :) Not to mention the health benefits to myself and my husband
My cooking tragedies
I miss cooking with wheat, tomatoes, corn, oats, etc.......
