Delicious! I used 1 1/2 lbs. each of boneless skinless breasts and thighs. Made the recipe exactly, served on buns with melted Pepper Jack Cheese. Amazing!

Jalapeno Popper Spread

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2009
I took this to a 4th of July picnic. OMG! everyone went crazy for it! I followed some of the other reviewers suggestions- omitting the green chilies, adding 4 fresh jalapenos finely diced to the jarred, used 1/2 cup mayo and 1/2 cup sour cream, substituted shredded Mexican blend cheese for the Parmesan. I topped the dip with 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs that I mixed with melted butter. I served the dip with thinly sliced baguette slices (that I drizzled with olive oil, dash of garlic salt, and toasted in the broiler) and Triscuit Thin Crisps. The Triscuits were the preferred dipper!! Everyone said that it tasted just like a jalapeno popper! One friend said he'd eat this off a bumper! So delicious! Thank you Denise, for the great recipe!!

Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2009
OMG! This is the BEST recipe! My boyfriend loves this! I also sent to a few friends and they rate it 5stars as well. It is so convenient to put the chicken in frozen. My only addition is that when you put in the cream cheese, I also add a package of fresh baby portabella mushrooms, then cook for the recommended 1/2 hour more. It is delicious!

Quick and Easy Green Chile Chicken Enchilada Casserole

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2009
I liked this but my boyfriend wasn't a big fan. I followed another reviewer's advice and mixed the chicken and sour cream together before spreading. I also added 1 finely diced jalapeno and some fresh cilantro to the enchilada sauce, which was a really nice flavor. The corn tortillas turned kind of mushy, and as I was serving it, my boyfriend asked if there were mashed potatoes in the casserole!

Clam Sauce with Linguine

I liked it, but my boyfriend didn't. You need to use fresh clams. The canned ones are too rubbery.

Very good! Everyone loved it! The measurements are enough to make 2 casseroles, and I froze one to make later. You simply thaw and bake at 375 for 30 minutes.

Key Largo Key Lime Pound Cake with Key Lime Glaze

While I liked the flavors of this carke, it turned out kind of dry and very dense. Not a big hit with my guests.

Spicy Italian Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2008
GREAT Recipe!! I did make a few changes- I used red wine vinegar and olive oil and used all black olives. I also marinated all of the veggies overnight. I didn't think there seemed to be enought dressing, so I added about 1/2 cup of bottled balsamic vinagerette. Right before serving, I added halved cherry tomatoes to the lettuce and poured all the veggies and dressing on top. I made this for an 'Italian themed' dinner party and it was very well received!! Everyone wanted the recipe. Thanks!!

Herbed Rice and Spicy Black Bean Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2008
This salad was just OK. A nice change from your typical macaroni or potato salad that uses mayo as a base. I changed the recipe slightly, substituting chopped green peppers for the celery and I added 3 T. of diced pimentos- - the salad needed a little more color. I took this to a picnic at the beach, it held up well. Wasn't all that impressive, I probably won't make this recipe again.

Yogurt Herb Dipping Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2008
A very good vegetable dip, once I had made some adjustments: I added a 1/4 cup nonfat mayo, fresh mint, salt and pepper, and 1 minced garlic clove. I omitted the celery salt. I also blended the dip in a food processor to get an even consistency. It turned out quite delicious and my guests enjoyed it!

Asian Ginger Dressing

Very good dressing! I added a little sugar, as I felt it wasn't sweet enough. It was a lot of work though, and you would get the same effect with a bottled Asian Sesame dressing bought from the store!

This is the best lemon poppy seed bread ever!!! I used a 1 oz. box of pudding mix and only 3 Tablespoons of poppy seeds. It was very moist and my boyfriend loved it! I also made another batch to give as gifts, baked in foil pans and wrapped in a Christmas kitchen towel. Everyone loved it!
