About this Cook
My favorite things to cook
My favorite things to cook consist of just about anything! I love trying new recipes and then like to change up those recipes just to try something new! My family is pretty health conscious and total fitness fanatics so most of my cooking is extremely healthy! Italian food is still a definite favorite though and always will be! I love steak or chicken saltimboca! Got both recipes here on All Recipes!
My cooking triumphs
One favorite for my family is my homemade pizza! My mom taught me at a young age how to make the perfect pizza dough and I have to say, I've perfected it since then! I do a healthier version with a combo wheat crust.

D's Famous Salsa
A great base salsa! However, I did modify slightly...I used fresh tomatoes from the garden, 3 cloves fresh minced garlic, skipped the green chilis and added a chopped jalepeno, red onion as well as a vidalia and used fresh corn (right off the cob!). I also used a whole lime instead of 1/2 and added a bit more fresh cilantro then the recipe called for. I ended up making 2 batches, one with corn and one without! GREAT recipe, thank you!!

Bodacious Broccoli Salad
This by far is one of my favorites! I get compliments every time I make it. I did change it up a bit though..I add cauliflower, carrots, radishes and sunflower seeds. Great for the flavor and the look of the overall salad! Every time there's a party to attend, I get requests for this one each time! Thanks for the recipe!

Greek Chicken Pasta
Will definitely make again! Good flavor and very easy to make! I served over whole wheat linguine with fat free feta. Next time I will add kalamata olives like someone suggested. Will also add zucchini for something different. A keeper in my book! Thanks!
