I've been making this for several years, and over time have changed it a bit. The original recipe is great, but I get lazy...
I skip the parsley if I don't have it and I usually replace the hot sauce with a dash of red pepper flakes and the cheddar with Kraft grated parmesan. I don't like canned salmon, so I boil four frozen single serving pieces of salmon. Also, to cut the time & calories, I will often make this as a loaf- put it in a buttered loaf pan, top with cheese, melted butter and bread crumbs, and bake for 45-60 minutes at 400 degrees. It's not as fancy, but still one of our favorites. Thanks for the recipe!
