About this Cook
I'm an active, outdoorsy, healthy eater on a semi-tight budget.
My favorite things to cook
Anything quick, healthy, organic, and relatively cheap. I experiment a lot since I usually have a bunch of random ingredients in my refrigerator and pantry.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My family doesn't really have any cooking traditions, I usually go against tradition anyways.
My cooking triumphs
"Italian Veggie Bake" or "Scallop Couscous" The first one was the first actual recipe I followed, and everyone that tried it (my roomies and a few of my coworkers) liked it. The second was another experiment that turned out extremely well. I may submit this one soon.
My cooking tragedies
My first attempt at Stir Fry... I put WAY too much soy sauce in it.

Cloverleaf Rolls
my wife and I both loved these, a lot easier to make than I thought they would be

Chocolate Pecan Pie III
Just wanted to say, I made this pie for the holidays this year, and I loved it. I think it's one of the best pecan pies I've ever had. :)

Apple Crisp II
Very tasty, but the "crisp" part of the dessert - the topping, could have been a little crispier. Otherwise, very yummy - especially warm with vanilla ice cream.
