I'm a mother of 9 with my 6th grandchild on the way. I've had a lot of experience cooking over the past 30 years... always trying to come up with new ideas to keep my family happy. I love to bake more than anything... I also use a lot of old family recipes handed down from generation to generation. cakes, pastries, cookies. I do a lot of crockpot and one pot meals because its easier with kids in and out all the time, and also makes clean up a lot nicer. Our Christmas tradition is Italian... I make a killer lasagna that everyone requests... my dad started this tradition because he loved my lasagna. Also cheesecake is always on the holiday menu. I've taught my oldest son and daughter to do the lasagna and cheesecake so I catch a brake from all the holiday cooking! We do turkey and ham for Thansgiving so everyone loves the change for Christmas!
