Butternut Squash Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2009
A wonderful dish. I used the pecans and only the brown sugar. Followed the rest the way is was suggested. I wasn't wild about the brown color (I love the bright orange color of squash). Took it to a pot luck where some people thought it was a pecan pie and others were not sure but they really liked it. So did I and my husband. I'll make this again.

Bananas 'N' Cream Bundt Cake

What a great recipe! The only change I made was to use 2 cups of blueberries (I love blueberries) and leave out the pineapple. Moist, OMG!!! Loved the idea of the coconut on the bundt pan. I'll make this many times and will try it with the pineapple. Great to use for a tropical theme party or just a summer dinner. Yumm!!!

Quick Quiche

I actually forgot to add the Swiss Cheese and this came out wonderfully. It was moist and light. I made it the day before, under cooked it, by 5 min. When heating it the next day I used a 350 degree oven for 30 min. Next time I'll make two.

Flourless Chocolate Cake II

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2009
Wonderful. I made this for a Valentine Party. It traveled well. Great for those with gluten allergies. I sifted powdered sugar on top then some red sprinkels on the powdered sugar. I also used all chocolate and not the cocoa powder as well as the tip for using wax paper on the bottom of the cake tin as well as using cocoa powder instead of flour. Great suggestions and wonderful tasting cake. I will make this again.

Cupcake Graveyard

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2008
This was a fun and tasty idea. I did change it to brownies which made it look more realistic. I made two packages on TJ's truffle brownie mix; spread it on a large cookie sheet. Before cutting I turned the cookie sheet brownie out onto a white cutting board, sifted confectioner’s sugar on top & then sprinkled green sprinkles on top of confectioners’ sugar. Decorated the graham crackers as recommended. Added fake spiders & small skeletons to the graveyard.
