Bella's Brussels Sprouts with Bacon

Never did I think I would rate a brussels sprouts recipe as 5 stars. I thought about tossing the sprouts when I got my weekly delivery of organic veggies and saw those in there. but not wanting to be wasteful I figured I would try to find a good recipe to use them in. This was a perfect recipe! I added some cooked quartered red potatoes with the sprouts during the last 10 minutes of cooking and it was so good. Be sure to use good quality balsamic. I used an 18 year aged BV that was slightly flavored with cassis which worked well.

Chorizo Burger

Avocado-Shrimp Salad

Very Yummy! used Trader Joes Guacamole kit (2 avacados, 1 tomato, jalpeno, shallot, lime) minus the garlic and added 1 more tomato. Worked out prefectly. The pepper gave it just a bit of a nice kick. Used Trader Joes frozen pre-cooked medium shrimp instead of salad size.

Kickin' London Broil with Bleu Cheese Butter

omg, this was SOOO good! I used flat iron steak instead, 4 minutes per side on high, but it worked out perfectly. my DH doesn't like blue cheese so i thought the butter topping would be just for me. but he tried it and absolutely loved it. Thank you so much! best steak i've ever made!

Frozen Mudslide

I didn't have any chocolate syrup, but added about 1t. ghiradelli sweet ground cocoa per serving which came out well. second time i tried adding amaretto for a little over 1/2 the vodka. also tried frangelico too...yummy!!

Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup

My Taiwanese husband said this was really good! except for the BBQ sauce, he said it gave it a weird southern taste. He said it would be perfect without it.

Amazing Italian Lemon Butter Chicken

OMG, this was, as the title says, AMAZING! My DH is not a lemon person, so I used 3T. lemon juice for the sauce, and seasoned where indicated for pepper with lemon pepper instead. Used proscuitto instead of bacon, may use less next time. When pouring the sauce over, did not use all of it, was fine with about 3/4 of what was made. DH loved it, and I don't even know if he noticed there was lemon in it! ^_^

a bit runny, so will add a bit less half and half. added mushrooms and frozen spinach, used 'real' bacon bits, and sauted the onions first. Yum!

Tomato, Basil, and Feta Salad

Greek salad with basil basically, as i used red onions instead of green. the basil over powers the taste though so i think i will stick with the "good for you greek salad" instead.

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

great pancakes! i don't know why more people don't make from scratch, they were so easy to make and tasted so much better! did add a bit of water as it was pretty thick, but after about 1/4 c it was perfect.

Savory Garlic Marinated Steaks

marinated 1 hour in my vacuvin marinating dish. perfect amount of time, over night would have been way to strong and overpowered the taste of the meat. with 1 hour it complimented it very nice. DH LOVED it.

Thai Salmon Salad
