About this Cook
I've always enjoyed crafts and doodling with a pen or pencil, painting, pastels, and sketching. I also enjoy web design, computer/software support, reading, bible study, spending time with family and friends, singing/dancing, exercise, walking, sightseeing, travel, pilates, and much more. I like to try new things and consider myself a 'jack of all trades'. Most freaky thing I've tried was skydiving, but it was worth it!
My favorite things to cook
Tamarind soup, rice, spaghetti & sauce, chicken stir fry/baked chicken, spring rolls, homemade soups, pansit, chile, cookies, cinnamon buns, cake, muffins, and banana bread.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Taco or chile nights, shake n' bake chicken, homemade burgers, coconut shrimp or any other special treats.
My cooking triumphs
Learning how to make cinnamon buns that are so yummy, learning the right consistency for dough when making different types of cookies/how to remedy dough that's not quite right, trying many new recipes every month!
My cooking tragedies
I've also gone through a number of burnt cookies/desserts, and other cooking tragedies to get to where I am today. But by no means am I a perfect cook, I think all cooks/bakers screw up sometimes, you just need to learn to laugh about it and move on.

Soft Sugar Cookies V
I'm always looking for new and tasty new ways to make cookies and this one was excellent. Very true, it stays nice and soft, and uniquely has the nutmeg flavour to add some spice to your batch. Very yummy! For mine, I decided to have fun with dipping it in chocolate and it turned out awesome! Highly recommend :)

Sylvia's Ribs
These ribs are awesome! My hubby and I devoured them, and they made great leftovers. My hubby says they taste like barbecue chips. Great recipe.
