I've cooked for as long as i can remember! I am a divorced mother who is taking time out from my profession as a counselor to work on my jewelry making business. I'm having a great time!
My favorite things to cook
I pretty much cook everything. I love to make Cajun food and Asian food though. Name it, I've cooked it, or baked it. My son is a vegetarian, so I even cook that.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I like to make GOOD food that is inexpensive.
My cooking triumphs
I make a turkey/sausage gumbo to die for and the best pesto chicken (homemade pesto of course) I also think my "drunken chicken" is wonderful.
My cooking tragedies
NEVER marinate chicken in bottled French dressing and then bake it in the marinade! YUKKKKKK
