Halloween pumpkin cookies!
About this Cook
I'm 21, in college, new mother of one and I enjoy cooking for others more than almost anything else. I am currently learning cake decorating...Its so fun (and tedious)!
My favorite things to cook
Cakes, cookies, baked goods....I like to come up with my own recipes just by improvising what I have and what I like.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mother would cook her homemade stuffed mushrooms every birthday.
My cooking triumphs
Coming up with original recipes for cookies, dinners, and pasta on a daily basis. It makes me proud when I can think of an idea and make it come out just as I imagined.
My cooking tragedies
Using precooked "Golden Chicken" flavored rice (big mistake) with tomatoes and turkey sausage....HORRIBLE. We could not eat it and I threw the entire skillet full away. It turns out the chicken flavor they use was just...inedible to us.

Scored Potatoes
These were decent. I have made them a few times. They are better when you put them score side down...but just ok, nothing special. I probably will not make these again.

Good Glop
Amazing! Also, I have added diced garlic and onion in lieu of the green onion, which makes it spicy, and that is amazing too! Thanks for the recipe.

Pumpkin Roll-Out Cookies
I like this cookie. I did make a few minor adjustments, by zesting an entire orange...which made maybe 1.5 tablespoons instead of one and by using only cinnamon to flavor the pumpkin, because thats what I had on hand. I also used fresh pumpkin that I roasted and then boiled down. They taste orangey like that, but I think it tastes better with more orange flavor. They were ok to roll out.As long as you have enough flour dusted it doesnt stick. I cut them in halloween shapes and I will be making them for halloween! Thanks for the recipe.
