Hot Buttered Rum Batter

Carrot Cake III

This was such an excellent recipe. I did not change one thing except for omitting the pecans in the frosting and only using 3 cups of the confectioners sugar. Also, in my oven it needed to cook the full 50 minutes. It was the best carrot cake I have ever made. Thank you!

Crustless Spinach Quiche

This is excellent and very easy. I have made it quite a bit for brunches and it is always a hit. I use any cheese I have on hand. Thanks for a great recipe!

Apple Dumplings with Rich Cinnamon Sauce

Excellent recipe. I used my standard pie crust recipe and granny smith apples and it turned out great. The sauce is incredible and I hope others do not miss out on enjoying this amazingly easy sauce. I love apple pie, but this beats it. It also reheats well the next day in the microwave for about a minute.

Bananas Foster II

This is so good and so easy. I didn't have rum, so I took another reviewer's advice and used 1 tsp imitation rum flavor and 2 tsp water for 1 Tbls rum. It was excellent. I also used pecans in place of the walnuts. I didn't have vanilla ice cream, so I used whipped cream. Yummy! Thanks for the great recipe.

Maple Dill Carrots

These carrots tasted amazing and I am normally not a huge carrot fan! I steamed the carrots in a pot with a steamer and cooked the sauce separately until it was thickened. I used 1/2 tsp dried dill because that was all I had. I mixed the cooled sauce over the carrots and it had the most wonderful flavor. I will definitely make this again.

This was pretty good, but seemed like it was missing something. I served the sauce on the side and thought that was a much better idea. It worked out into being an easy last minute dessert because I had all of the ingredients on hand.

No More Salty Easter Ham
