Hearty Turkey Soup with Parsley Dumplings

I never though of sauteing the veggies for stock but oh boy it made a huge difference. This was the richest stock I've ever made. I had a few left over chicken quarters in the freezer and I picked up chicken backs because they were cheap. This made the BEST stock!

Hungarian Goulash II

I loved this! I doubled it so I would have leftovers. Followed recipe exactly and the only thing I would change is the brown sugar. First day the goulash was a little sweet, all I did at the table was add a little worchestshire it!

Cheeseburger Soup I

I followed prior suggestions, doubled the beef and used Velveeta instead of cheddar. Since I used the velveeta I',m not sure the sour cream was necessary since it made it creamier than cheddar would have. All in all a great recipe. I love great base recipes that leave room for additions and this is one of those.

Easy and Elegant Pork Tenderloin

I've made this twice and had a hard time getting the breading to stick to the pork, but it did keep the tenderloin very juicy and moist. Second time around I sprinkled a little garlic and onion powder on the pork and added a little parmesan cheese to the breading.

Turkey Pot Pie

I never made a pot pie before because I thought it would be ALOT of work...frozen pie crust save me from that. This was the best thing I've ever made with leftover turkey. I can't wait to try it with chicken so I don't have to cook a whole a turkey!

Buckeye Balls II

I followed recipe exactly and ended up with darn near a hundred of these little buggers! I may have made them slightly small than suggested but I prefer a single bite size candy. I had to work the dough a bit after using the mixer when I was making the balls but the end product was well worth the effort.

Rum or Bourbon Balls

This recipe called for more rum or bourbon than most recipes. I used bourbon for these and did rum balls using another recipe, even those who usually prefer rum liked these better. Thanks for posting

Daddy's Fried Corn and Onions

Awesome recipe. I made this several times this year with fresh corn, it brings out the natural sweetness. Once I added bacon and cabbage just because I had it on hand, come out great, will be making this recipe for years to come.

Pumpkin Turkey Chili

Made this for a chili cook off at work and came in second. Wanted to make something for those who don't eat beef, they loved it! The texture was hard for me to handle, added a can of tomato sauce because it seemed too thick, also added more spices as suggested by others. Will make again and play with the recipe.

Bacon Roasted Chicken

Bacon and anything=great meal! I've done a turkey wrapped in bacon and silly me never thought to try it with a chicken. This turned out great, very moist and tender. I rubbed the butter under the skin and only used half as much broth turned out Great! Will definately make this again and again!!

Amish Macaroni Salad

I recently made this for a work party and it was a huge hit. Everyone loved it and asked for the recipe. I'm happy to share it!! I did double the macaroni and celery and there was still more than enough dressing. I also added cucumber because I had one that needed to be used and I Love cucumbers.
