I am happily married to my husband of two years. We both work two jobs, so when we are together, I try to make a nice meal. I learned basic cooking skills from my mom and other relatives, but my real education came from watching the Food Network and trying recipes from this site. I love trying new recipes, and my husband loves being the "guinea pig" for them!! I love making ALL breakfast dishes--omlettes, crepes, waffles, bacon, quiche, etc... I also love making pastas with different sauces, anything with mushrooms and/or asparagus, scallops and other seafood, soups, steaks--I try a little of everything, whatever we're hungry for that night!! I also love to bake, and I decorate cakes part-time as well. Making scallops bon femme for a dinner party--everyone loved them! It's a triumph when I make a new recipe and it turns out how it was supposed to the first time I make it!!
