If I'm not moving, I must be sleeping. I've got a two year old, a husband who works 60+ hours a week, a full time job, and I'm a student. You can find me in my craft room or in the kitchen, if I'm not at work, school, or in the backyard with my son.
My favorite things to cook
I love trying new pasta sauces, as well as Asian and Carribean dishes. My specialty, however, is Weight Watchers cooking. I'm a very adventurous cook, and never let something like a difficulty rating stop me from trying.
My favorite family cooking traditions
We didn't really have any cooking traditions, and we still don't. My dad is a "slap it on the barbie and char it" type of guy, and my mom is very into meat and potatoes.
My cooking triumphs
My biggest triumph so far has been the vegetarian moussaka I made for Christmas dinner. Another favorite in my household is spinach mascarpone soup from scratch.
My cooking tragedies
I made crab rangoons from a Weight Watchers recipe and they were bloody awful! Another tragedy was my home-made pesto that I forgot to put the lemon juice in, and accidentally added too much garlic. We're garlic lovers, and it was STILL too much.
