I'm 47yrs old I started cooking in my, parents hotel, aged 11yrs. I have worked with some wonderful cooks and chefs; none better than my own parents and grandmother. Everyone loves my food. I like to cook traditional English dishes like Sunday Roast and more exotic foods including many oriental dishes. Other favourite dishes are soups and stews. I guess some people would say I cheat a little with recipes I prefer to call them shortcuts. One of my favourite family dishes is our family Cheese and Tomatoe Macaroni in all its variations. Scouse (a traditionl English lamb stew) and Garlic Mushroom Soup. My Christams Roasts and my Spaghetti Bolognese. My ability to make a satisfying and tasty meal from almost anything on even the tightest budget. An alternative Christmas Cake that burned one side and would not cook through on the other;such a waste of fine ingredients.
