I love to cook. My mom was a wonderful cook, and started teaching me when I was very young. It's fun to find new recipes on this website and tweak them to fit what I have in the pantry or think might taste better; it has made me a more adventurous cook. I like to cook everything, but I don't really enjoy baking. Thanksgiving dinner has always been my favorite. My mom always made roasted garlic/rosemary turkey, and now I make it every year too. Everything that gets rave reviews. When I was 12 or 13 I was put in charge of making homemade whipping cream for the Thanksgiving pies. After everyone had put some on their pie, we realized I had accidentally grabbed the liquid smoke instead of the vanilla. Not good!
