Married and living in our first house with our dog Sushi. I try to vary my cooking and mix it up on a daily basis. It has quickly become a passion. I love anything Italian or German, and I love to make deserts, but I am not a fan of eating deserts- which is kind of strange, but other people love them, which is all that matters. My grandmother recently passed away, and that is where I received most of my cookign genes. She gave me my two favorite recipes before she passed away: "garbage" (hamburger casserole), and a pepper steak meal. I also traditionally make a Slovakian dish every Easter- Ceditz- yummy! I have never cooked fish EVER, but I found a delicious recipe for Tilapia on here- and I actually made it right...WAHOO! I have also gotten into more gourmet cooking. It generally takes me twice as long, but it usually tastes great and I am learning which is all that matters. When my husband and I got our first apartment I smoked out the entire apartment three times in one week. Thank goodness we lived next to a fire department...they thought it was a little funny:-)
