About this Cook
I am 16 years old, in grade 10 and proudly own one guinea pig, a bunny and a dog. I live with my mom and sister and, seeing as mom works, end up doing the cooking. I LOVE VIDEO GAMES AND OTHER NERD-LIKE OBSESSIONS!!! ^.^ I have a red-stripe in Taekwondo and am aiming to get my black belt about the same time I graduate (preferably with honours) from high school.
My favorite things to cook
If it involves A) chicken B) olives C) curry or D)anything spicy I'll make it. I like desserts and stuff, but I prefer main dishes because you can be a bit more creative. I don't deep-fry ever, though.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Mmmm.....my Great-Grandmother's apple pudding. Easy and dirt cheap to make (and a lot easier to find ingredients for out here than what my mom tells me is a very tasty seal pie). Basically it's a cake-type pudding with chunks of apples in the batter and this rum-caramel sauce on top.
My cooking triumphs
..........I don't know. I like cake. Maybe when I made my first pie (kind of an orangey custardy thing I made up) and it tasted good. I can tell it tasted good because my sister ate mine while I wasn't looking.
My cooking tragedies
The shameful truth: I have a jello curse upon me. I suck at jello-making, although I'm not sure why.
