I am 41 yrs old and love to cook. I have been married for 10 yrs and have a 23 yr old daughter and a 6 yr old son. I love to cook pretty much anything except for cooking out on the grill. I don't like grilling. I love trying new recipes. I learned to cook from my grandmother when I was very young. She was the type that wouldn't measure anything. Everything was measured in the hand. I think my cooking triumph was my baked beans. Took me a long time to perfect them. Everybody loves them now. Spaghetti!! Although I can cook spaghetti now, I had a really hard time with it. When I would cook the noodles they would stick together and just be one big nasty lump. It was really bad but I found out that if you put a little olive oil and salt in the water and bring it to a full boil before adding the noodles they will not stick together.
