Simple Whole Wheat Bread
Great recipe! I used all whole wheat flour (South Beach Diet) and the texture turned out great. I cut the recipe to 2 loaves because of the size of my mixer. I used a yeast starter and made a few minor changes in order to use it. For 2 loaves I put in 2 1/2 cups of starter and added 1/2 cup warm water to the first step. It took a bit longer to raise because of the starter. I put in 1 egg along with the salt, etc. trying to give it a good consistency. I am very excited about this and the loaves turned out beautiful and they taste great.
