Baked Beans II

Reviewed: Jul. 2, 2009
Yum! Will definitely be making these again. Had always just bought the canned baked beans but these are so much better. I did cut back on the sugar just a bit but other than that follwed the recipe exactly.

Apple Brownies

Reviewed: Jul. 2, 2009
My husband was a big fan of these and that's saying something for someone who usually always asks for chocolate desserts. I used gala apples and they worked fine. More like a cake than brownies. Actually reminded my of Nana's Apple Cake from Tastefully Simple only cheaper to make!

Best Brownies

These are great. Very moist and gooey. The frosting was awesome too. Never used honey in my icing but I thought it really made it. Thanks for the great recipe.

Black Bean and Couscous Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 2, 2009
We love this! I only used one can of black beans and it seemed like a good amount. I sometimes add in diced grilled chicken for a light dinner.

Creamy Pesto Chicken and Bow Ties

Reviewed: Jul. 2, 2009
We enjoyed this. I used whole wheat pasta and added tomatoes. My husband thought the sauce was really good and preferred it to plain ol' pesto.

Make Ahead Lunch Wraps

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2009
Just made this for dinner tonight and we really liked them. I halved the recipe and it still made 10 wraps so I froze the leftovers. Added some salsa and cilantro to the bean mixture and took the advice of others and seasoned the rice with taco seasoning. My husband thought they could use a little more salsa and cheese, but also said they tasted just like what he gets at Chipolte. Thanks for the great recipe!

Yummy Honey Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2009
These kabobs were great! I also ended up doubling the sauce and we used chicken, green pepper and onion. I was shocked when my sauce loving husband decided to eat these without anything. He said they had such great flavor on their own he didn't want to cover it up!

Who would have thought a little baking soda could make such a difference. My husband is a huge fan and I'm now making this about every other day!

Mu husband loved these. Said they were his new favorite thing I make. I'm not a big fan of Ranch but I thought they were really good too! I did cut the butter a bit.
