About this Cook
I'm about to be a new mom, have been with the Pampered Chef for a year and a half, love to cook and tutor chemistry. I'm former active duty Air Force, but hubby is still in the service.
My favorite things to cook
Anything on the stove top!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Sunday morning blueberry pancakes, Christmas bouche de noel, but most of all, just having dinner as a family.
My cooking triumphs
The first time I successfully made bread! Any time I successfully make it through a Pampered Chef demo without messing up, lol! Oh, and my fried rice recipe I made up that hubby said was better than restaurant fried rice!
My cooking tragedies
Hmm... maybe the one slow cooker recipe I tried on Valentine's Day that was horrible.

Ginger Glazed Mahi Mahi
Pretty good. I may have marinated the fish too long, but it turned out alright. The sauce is wonderful, but the fish is rather bland without the extra sauce on top. I'm thinking to save time I should just bake the fish and pour the sauce on top after reducing it.

Tasty Buns
Great basic recipe! If this didn't work for you, you did something wrong (for example, I tried halving the recipe and kept getting biscuits instead of buns :) )

Steamed Tuna Fish
Instead of steaming, I pan-seared the tuna, and also omitted the salt for the sauce. I think I used less ginger than the recipe called for, but I didn't measure so I can't be sure. It looked more like a topping than a sauce, but was surprisingly delicious! My husband loved it and called it "num-ilicious"! The liquid part of the sauce was also great with steamed asparagus.
