Giant Ding Dong Cake

okay I'm trying to make the filling but no matter how long I beat it the sugar is still grainy. Maybe next time add the sugar in with the milk/flour mixture. ETA: I had to heat this up a little to get the sugar crystals to melt, I didn'twant grainy filling.

Apple Crisp Cookies

I have my own AB which has lots of cinnamon, nutmeg, & clove already. But I doubled the cinnamon in the recipe and I think these came out great. My whole house smelled awesome!

Banana Praline Muffins

I just took these out of the oven and taste good already. For me it made 12 small muffins. I like them a tad bigger so next time I'll try 8 or 10 muffins. ETA: I added a 1/2tsp baking soda and they rise just fine.

Yuck, I don't know why anyone would use vegetable oil, or shortening. We use coconut oil here. OTH This is a pretty cool recipe!

Neiman Marcus Cake II

okay so I made this tonight, it's really good. But I'll have to make my own customizatioin on this. I could feel my blood sugar go high. And I only added 1/2 of the sugar. Next time I'll add 1/4 CUP GRANULATED sugar, & 1 egg with the cream cheese. And since I didn't know where to put the almond extract, I put 1tsp to each layer. The raspberry and pecans with coconut are amazing and wouldn't be anywhere as good without it! YUM!

make sure you follow the directions to a T. the first time I wasn't really paying attention and added dry to liquid and it didn't turn out. BTW I love this recipe, you could change it to any flavor you want! I've waited a long time to find THIS recipe. Thank you for sharing!

Chocolate Fudge Pops

This is what I did. 1 pkg chocolate fudge instant pudding, 1 can evaporated milk. I was surprised it wasn't very chocolatey. So I added a smidge of chocolate extract. They're in the freezer now, can't wait to try them!

Crumbled-Topped Chocolate Peanut Butter Cake

This is what I did in the batter: 1C pnb chips (no other chocolate chips). Also, I used 1C sugar because of the streusel topping I put on. For the streusel top I used: 1/2C flour, 1/2C w sugar, 1/3C pnb, 4T butter. A sprinkling of pnb chips, milk choc chips, semi sweet chips. With Reese Minatures cut in half.

Carrot Cake III

This is 1 great cake. The only thing I did different was to add: 1/2t nutmeg (maybe I should go 1/4t), 1/4t ginger, & 1/4t clove. Because I like to make it very spicy. And I made my own frosting, that uses 1/2 the powder sugar this 1 calls for.

Italian Love Cake

This was a very good tasting cake. I had no problem getting the white layer to sink, just pour from a few inches higher. A+ & we're picky about chocolate cake.
