This recipe was good. I wouldn't call it "world's best" but pretty good, probably the best i've made before. i think the only thing i did differently was avoid the fennel seeds, and only because i didnt have any on hand. I did like how the lasagna kept together like it should! I ended up using the ricotta mxture, mozzarella shredded cheese(out of a package), fresh mozzarella balls(bocconcini i believe), and fresh parmesan. I think the thing that kept it from being excellent for me might have been the noodles(my fault). I did use a off brand noodle so the texture of them was weird. I par-boiled my noodles and let them finish cooking in the oven. So i do suggest not using off brand and stick with a good brand you know and like. Overall this is a keeper recipe for me!
