Ann's Sister's Meatloaf Recipe

This is a really good, basic meatlof recipe. I took another reviewer's suggestion of mixing ketchup with bbq sauce to add to the ground beef mixture and to the top. The whole family enjoyed this one!

Baked Pork Chops I

This is surprisingly delicious for being so easy to make. I used a combination of Cream of Mushroom and Golden Mushroom soups and added sauteed sliced mushrooms as others suggested. Chops were perfectly tender and tasty. This is my new favorite baked pork chop recipe!

Sugar Cookies

I made these thinking that the dough could be rolled out for cookie cutters, but it was much too sticky to accomodate a rolling pin. Still, these are scrumptious and I will make them again...a perfectly soft sugar cookie when baked for 9 minutes. Enjoy!

World's Best Lasagna

This is a tried and true favorite at our house for adults and kids alike. I leave out the sausage when I make it because of personal preference, but I wouldn't otherwise change a thing. Yum!

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

A five star pie by my standards for sure! This is a delicious recipe as is and was gobbled up at my house. I think I will add some cinnamon and nutmeg the next time I make this for a little added flavor. A definite go-to recipe for apple pie!

Catherine's Spicy Chicken Soup

Soooo good! My husband declared this a winner, perfect for the snowy day on which I served it. I modified my leaving out the whole tomatoes and the chopped tomatoes completely as we aren't big fans. I felt that the consistency using the tomato soup and salsa was just right...wouldn't change a thing otherwise. I will be serving this again!

Winter Fruit Salad with Lemon Poppyseed Dressing

I served this on Christmas Eve and it received compliments from everyone seated around the table....I used 1/2 romaine and 1/2 butter lettuce and substituted craisins for the cranberries and blue cheese crumbles for the swiss cheese. The dressing is especially wonderful! This is a definite keeper...my husband has already asked me to make this again soon!

These are delicious - I used zucchini, red peppers, mushrooms and vidalia onion - everyone raved! I agree with the reviewed who said these are even slightly better when served cold the next day!!

Rosemary Red Potatoes

Sugar Cookie Frosting

Very good with the recipe for Best Rolled Sugar Cookies from this site. I used Crisco shortening which made the frosting pure white and didn't tint it. Instead I iced each cookie and then sprinkled with colorful sugars! Beautiful and tasty results - everyone raved! Yum!

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Tried this for cut out Easter cookies recently - dough is easy to work with and cookies come out soft and chewy. As good as any rolled sugar cookie I've tried before. Delicious with the Sugar Cookied Frosting from this site.

Hash Brown Casserole I

I just made this as an accompaniment to a ham dinner and everyone raved! Delicious and easy, but not low fat. I used diced hash brown potatoes and substituted cream of chicken soup for cream of celery. This is delicious and tastes you like you slaved away in the kitchen!
