Martha's Vegetable Beef Soup
This was a pretty decent recipe. Like many of the recipes on allrecipes.com, usually it's a great place for me to start. This recipe was just that. I made some changes to suit my own tastes. I omitted the tomato sauce and added 3 cloves of crushed garlic and more variety of vegetables such as diced rutabegas. A good soup. Will make it again. Thanks for the recipe!

Southern Potato Salad
I am sitting here eating a bowl of this fabulous potato salad. I've been searching for just the right potato salad recipe. This is the one! The relish and garlic add just the right amount of punch and zing. From here you can do all kinds of variations. Dijon mustard, a touch of curry, different potatoes, homemade mayo...wherever your imagination leads you. This recipe is a keeper! I will make it again and again and again! Thanks for the recipe!

Aunt Dot's Brunswick Stew
My grandmother used to make a tomato based turkey soup the day after Thanksgiving or Christmas and this was the closest recipe I could find. The base of the recipe is good, I just made some changes to suit my tastes. Changes: Used leftover turkey from Thanksgiving. Omitted the salt, sugar, garlic salt and flour. Added 1 clove of fresh garlic. Added 1/2 tsp. of red pepper flakes. Substituted water for chicken broth. Also used fire-roasted peeled and diced tomatoes. I thought the flavor was very nice and using bacon and chicken broth was enough salt for me. My version of this stew turns out more like a very chunky soup. Yummy! Yummy! I would make it again and again!
