About this Cook
I've been married for 21 years and have at 16 year old daughter and a 4 year old chocolate lab.
My favorite things to cook
Sunday dinners, comfort foods, italian, new recipes.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Every Thanksgiving my daughter and I will make buttermilk grand biscuits look like turkeys .Now that she is older she still to asks help me make them.
My cooking triumphs
Cooking for my friends and having them love everything. The last time we had friends over, the roast was so perfectly done they couldnt stop talking about it.We even get requests for dinners when they are invited over.
My cooking tragedies
Dont ask my nephew about my baking skills as I have none. I can overcook a premade, preformed cookie in no time. He laughs whenever he is over for dinner and I offer cookies for dessert.

Beef Bourguignon II
I made this last Sunday, it was a gloomy day , perfect for having the house smell so good while it cooked. The beef was tender and was even good as leftovers. I used 1 cup wine and 1 cup beef broth, served over noodles, perfect!. I plan to make it again today, definitely a keeper. Thanks !

Gobble Up Granola Snacks
I have made these twice now and it cant be easier to make. I use 2/3 cups instead of 1/2 cups and use honey instead of corn syrup. I have used trail mix in a batch and choc chips in the other. Took them to a volleyball tournament and not one was left, even the adults enjoyed. Great and healthy snack.

Cousin Cosmo's Greek Chicken
This has become a family favorite and added to the regular menu rotation. I use white wine instead of chicken bouillon and water and add artichoke hearts and black olives. I finish it off in the oven for about 15-20 minutes. Then top with extra feta cheese. YUM
