Made this cake yesterday & adjusted the sugar amt. as per reviews. Cake is a winner. The glaze was wonderful. But...besides adding cinnamon, next time I will add raisins & chopped dates. This cake is party worthy.

This recipe has been in our family for over 40 yrs. But my goodness, whats with all of the sugar. This is not dessert. Less is more ! Also WAY TOO much sour cream , a goodly dollop will do. Also I always add garlic powder to give it the best flavor. Otherwise it is a great recipe. (from my precious Hungarian mother in law).

My husband has been making these for over 50 yrs. He makes the crepes & I make the home made jam. Works great. Biggest secret to crepes is to not let the batter get too thick. A dusting of Powdered sugar is a must after the roll up. Enjoy.
