I am working mother who loves to cook. I am always looking for new recipes.. cooking is my favorite hobby. I love to inspire joy through food. Gosh, there are so many. I guess I would say my favorite experiences are on the holidays. Where I pull out all the stops, nothing comes from a can, it's all fresh and all homemade. Like my grandmother taught me. Southern style, fattening and afterwords you need a long nap! My grandmother and her two sisters really is where my cooking inspiration comes from. They did everything fresh, southern style, all homemade. Cooking to them was a way to show love. And boy, were we LOVED as kids! I would say my holiday meals. No one leaves unsatified. My holiday dinners are legendary. When I was dating my husband in college, I tried to make him spaghetti. I only owned one pot, and in it was the sauce, so I tried to boil noodles in a ceramic dish. Just so you know, that doesn't work. Water went everywhere when the dish exploded and we went out to eat. He married me anyway!
