I'm married, we still do not have kids. I work full time, and on my free time I love to try new recipes. My specialty would be Mexican food, but don't get to cook it often since real Mexican food is time consuming. My favorite family cooking tradition would be our birthday celebrations. My mother always asked us what we wanted to eat that day and we could choose anything. Anything went, spanish paella, mole verde (from scratch), chocolate, pozole, picaditas, pansita, menudo, tacos de tripa, anything... My grandmother does everything from scratch and chocolate is no exception, she toasts and grinds the coco beans her self. The last time I visited her we made a batch together, which was truly special and a piece of her I will always have with me long after she is gone. Bavarian cream. I always curdle my firs batch of Bavarian cream, but the third time is always the lucky charm.
