Awesome soup! I, too, used half and half. I omitted the lemon juice and wine because I barely got the cream into it before my husband was already eating some. He didn't want me to change it after his first bite.

I lost my lasagna recipe years ago, and have been looking for another since then. This recipe is even better! I used the wide Barilli noodles uncooked and a whole container of fresh basil, but no other changes. I have served this for a party and had to print off the recipe for everyone there. It is so worth the extra work!

Fantastic! My daughter told me about this, so we had to try it. I only used about 1/2 a green pepper, no wine or water, and 2 boxes of Swanson beef broth. I didn't have any dried oregano so I put in a pinch of ground oregano. I honestly don't think you can mess up this recipe. My husband is not a fan of either tortellini or green pepper, and he loved it!!!
