Kielbasa with Peppers and Potatoes

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2009
With the recommended oil, it came out too greasy. Also, my husband and I thought the dish was rather bland. If I made it again, I wouldn't follow the recipe. Instead, I'd omit the oil and kick it up with some spices or use spicy sausage.

Quick And Easy Mexican Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2009
I didn't skillet fry it, but otherwise I followed the recipe. It was great! Even my husband who doesn't care for chicken liked it. I served it with white rice flavored with Taco Seasoning I. Yum!

Italian Sausage Soup

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2009
I didn't have zucchini, but I'm sure this would have been even better without it. I used frozen spinach (thawed) and canned sliced carrots instead of fresh. It was still delicious! I'll definitely make it again with zucchini!

Bob Evans® Favorite Chili Recipe

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2009
Fast, inexpensive and tasty! I followed the recipe EXACTLY. I used hot sausage and still would have liked more chili powder. Next time I'll add more. However, if you like your chili mild, the spices would be perfect.

Vegan Brownies

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2009
I've baked these twice following the recipe ingredients exactly. The first time I baked them for 28 minutes. The second time I baked them for 25 minutes. When baked for 25 minutes exactly, they were gooey and fudgy. At 28 minutes, they were too dry and crumbly. Delicious! I won't be baking with eggs and milk anymore.

Angel Food Cupcakes

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2009
First, the recipe makes 3 dozen cupcakes, not a dozen. Second, I followed the instructions and wound up with dark, crispy cupcakes. I took the advice of other reviewers and baked at 350 instead of 375 for 15 minutes and the rest turned out okay.

Chewy Coconut Bars

These were good, but very sweet and rich. I definitely had to down these with a glass of milk. I gave them as Xmas presents and everybody liked them, though.

Easy Pumpkin Muffins

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2009
These are not pretty, but they're delicious, super moist, easy, and very cheap to make! I used a can of pumpkin pie mix instead of plain pureed pumpkin and skipped the spices. I'll definitely be making these on a regular basis!

Easy Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2009
These were delicious and easy! I made them with margarine, as another review suggested, and had no problems forming them in balls. I scooped them up with an ice cream scoop and rolled them in colored sugar. There was virtually no mess. They did harden after about 2 days, maybe because of the margarine. This is one of my favorites!

I didn't have parsley, but this was wonderful without it! My family cleaned this up in one sitting. My husband and I agreed this was the best cauliflower we'd ever had!

Fabulous Fruit Salad

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2009
This was great! My husband who earlier turned his nose up at the idea of fruit salad loved it. My husband doesn't care for nectarines, so I used a can of mandarin oranges instead. Otherwise, I followed the instructions exactly. The lemon yogurt really makes this!

Love Soup Mix in a Jar

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2008
I tried this recipe before giving it as a gift. The macaroni was overdone and the tri-color pasta was undercooked. I had to cook it a lot longer to get the tri-color pasta to cook at all. My husband ate it, but I couldn't stomach it.

I'm not sure what I did wrong, but they turned out super mushy and wouldn't solidify no matter what I tried. They were also too sweet, even for me.

Sugar Cookie Icing

This came out delicious, but like other reviewers, I had to add A LOT of corn syrup and a little milk to thin it out. It dried smooth and glossy, though.
