My daughters raved about these. We put butter, real maple syrup and a blob of whipped cream on top and they thought they were eating dessert!

I have been looking for a recipe like this. I followed the recipe, but substituted 1/4 c wheat germ for 1/4 c reg. flour (to make me feel better?!) I lightly packed a 1/4 c measuring cup and placed 6 cookies per sheet. They turned out superb! I can only imagine that the one bad review was because of altitude or perhaps substituting margarine for butter.

This was great. I added a little lime juice and reduced the number of jalapeno peppers to 1 and it was very mild. I will use this again!
