Cinnamon Carrot Bread

Like other reviewers, I used a shorter baking time to make sure the bread stayed moist. Very good flavor!

Cheese and Broccoli Chicken Soup

I think this soup would be better with beer added into it, and without the chicken. Otherwise, this was a great dish!

I tried these pancakes this morning, following the recipe exactly. They don't taste like egg nog, the batter was much too thick, like a biscuit dough, and needed quite a bit of tweaking. My husband added milk to thin the batter, more seasoning, and baking powder to fix it. I haven't gone to read the other reviews of the recipe yet so I don't know why so many liked this recipe. I hoped for great pancakes, and was terribly disappointed.

Syracuse Salt Potatoes

I recently moved to Syracuse and kept seeing the salt potato bags at the store...picked up bag, tried this recipe (and learned some history) and the whole family LOVES them.

Shredded Beef Enchiladas

Yum! I used leftover meat that I had cooked in the crockpot, so it didn't have the seasonings. To make up for it, I added cumin to the sour cream mix. It was great!

Pork Chop Packs

We found this to be bland. I added salt and pepper to the chops, too. Perhaps with some cinnamon and other spices the flavors would be enhanced.

Cranberry Brisket

this recipe sounded and smelled delicious, but when it was done, we found that the cranberry flavor was lost to the onion soup flavor. The onion flavor was overpowering. Maybe if half a packet of soup mix was used it would be better.
