I'm a working wife and mother of two daughters. I work evenings so I don't get to make dinner too often but when I do, I try to make it special. I seem to prefer making desserts, although it's not a conscious choice on my part. What I've really enjoyed is learning how to make basic foods that you take for granted but that are easy to make, like scones or pudding. I don't so much have any specific triumphs but thanks to this site, I've become known as the chef in the family. Thank you to all you submitters and reviewers who make me look good! Not so much a tragedy but I recently made a major mistake with a recipe that had only three ingredients...three ingredients, people! It still turned out okay though.
