I am a true Creole girl misplaced and now experiencing the UK and Europe. I had to come all the way to England to find my prince and have not looked back. I miss home but I have a true love and appreciation for this beautiful country and its many cuisine influences. My hubby and I are in the proces of opening the very FIRST and only true Creole/Cajun cafe in Cheshire.
My favorite things to cook
Creole, Cajun, olde English, and Southern comfort food. I love to bake and experiment with new cuisines.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I grew up learning to cook at the elbow and underfoot of my great grammie, grandmother, and mother. They were and are all fabulous cooks. My auntie owned a B&B in New Orleans and I learned all my best tricks from her in entertaining.
My cooking triumphs
I enjoy seeing people gorge themselves on good homecooked food and m best triumphs are seeing my British hubby and all his friends and family experience and enjoy new dishes and flavors.
My cooking tragedies
Fudge.....sometimes it comes out, sometimes it doesn't.
