I'm young, I love to bake, and I love to try new things. My mom is an amazing cook, and my hubby's pretty good, so I haven't had a lot of practice myself. Cooking is fun and makes me feel empowered. I love to make cookies, zucchini bread, and banana bread. I actually got the bread recipes from allrecipes.com. Recently, I've been trying my hand at soups and stews. Christmas cookies, my mother's soups, seafood on Christmas Eve My husband and I have been married three years. One of the traditions we've insisted on is hosting Thanksgiving. Hubby does most of the cooking and I play sous-chef. It's incredibly rewarding. really bad peppermint cookies... and pumpkin cookies
