Peppermint Bark

This was my first attempt at making "bark" and it turned out great. I used some chocolate rabbits in my freezer that I melted down. I used a bag of white chocolate chips and added some butter to make it more spreadable. Smashed candy canes gave it more texture.

Hot German Potato Salad III

For those who don't like the cold salads heaping with egg, this is your recipe. I add more bacon, 1/3 cup beef stock and use green onions instead of white. Fantastic!

Victoria's Cucumber Salad

My husband loves this recipe and says it is even better then what his Oma made when he was growing up. Follow the ingredients listed but alter the amounts according to your own taste buds (we prefer more garlic and less pepper).

Sheryl's Baked Potatoes

These turned out really well. I scrubbed the potatoes before slicing, rubbing with butter and sprinkling with seasoning salt & garlic powder. I baked them in foil and at the end just left the foil open and let my cheese bake on. I would try to get more of everything down into the potato next time and use more cheese.

Greek Pasta Salad I

I am rating this on the sauce alone. I didn't have all the veggies for the recipe so I just tossed some cooked pasta with the sauce, LOTS of feta and Kalamata olives. I added balsamic vinegar and more red wine vinegar to it. It was good last night and I am hoping it is even better today.

Rocky Road Squares

These bars are very...interesting. They are enjoyable but hard to define. They are really easy to throw together and, once cooled, are super easy to cut and serve.
