Not much to say about me. I've been married almost 10 years and we just had our third child. I enjoy cooking, baking and photography. I am an All Recipe addict and can't go a day without checking for new and interesting recipes to try. I love making soups and stews all year round but desserts are probably what I spend the majority of my kitchen time on. I get requests for cheesecakes (bake and no-bake) and for my fudge. In the summer we enjoy fishing for our supper. The kids get to be outside on the lake while we get to fish. I think whenever I come home from a nice meal at a restaurant and can duplicate it, or improve on it, is a triumph for me. I don't like ordering things that I know I can make at home for a lot less money. I once made Baklava (recipe from this site) and didn't have anywhere to store it. So instead of leaving it out on the counter I stuck it in the oven. The next day I decided to do some baking and preheated my oven. It wasn't long before I could smell something funny in the kitchen. I opened up the oven to see the saran wrap melted onto my baklava. The moral of the story is: always check your oven before preheating!
