I altered it a bit based on what I had on hand. I used a 28 oz. can of diced tomatoes (including juices) and a 16 oz. can of tomato paste. I used baby spinach, sliced, and dried basil. I few shakes of Tabasco wasn't enough of a bite so I still need to work with it for the taste buds of my family. If nothing else it is a really healthy soup.
