I've grown up and lived in California all my life. I am happily married, for a year now, to a Master Sergeant in the Marine Corp. Have a 16 year old son and 10 year old daughter, and two German Shepherd dogs, who are more like kids than dogs. I'm currently a stay-at-home mom so I'm spending extra time learning new recipes to try with my family. I love trying new recipes. I get bored making the same stuff all the time, so this website is wonderful for new ideas. Love to cook anything Italian. My husband and kids also like my tacos. Using my crock pot is also a favorite since I don't have to worry about coming home and messing up the kitchen again. My lasagna seems to be a hit all the time. Also my Chicken Cordova and tacos. I created a great tasting chicken dinner and my hubby loved it. Before my husband and I started dating, I asked him over for dinner one night. I made my Chicken Cordova, to impress him. Well, I used a smaller cooking dish and didn't leave enough room between the chicken breasts. As we were eating, my kids kept saying the chicken was too tough. Come to find out...not all the chicken was thoroughly cooked. I ended up throwing it all away and prayed we wouldn't get sick. I guess I didn't scare Bruce away cuz we got married a year later. :o)
