Brown Sugar Brownies

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2009
The BEST BROWNIE bar none! It's soft and chocolaty and delicious! If I could give this more stars I would! I took it to a party in an 8x8 pan and by the end of the night people were scrapping the bottom of the pan for crumbs. It was so easy to make, this is the only brownie recipe I will ever use.

Quick and Easy Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2009
This is a very quick and tasty dish! My husband and I both really enjoyed it! I put it together with a couple of Chinese dumplings and frozen sweet potato fries. This will be a great staple in our house. If I can figure out how to get the sauce to thicken after cooking and use it as a dipping sauce or glaze afterwords that would be even better!

This was a good quick side dish. I thought it was a bit bland but, once I added some Garlic Pepper it was very yummy.

Grilled Cheese and Peanut Butter Sandwich

Reviewed: Sep. 3, 2008
Just finished this and it was okay. I wouldn't say it was delish or anything but, it satisfied my snacking need for the moment. I used non-dairy, soy American cheese b/c of allergies. It was different. I'm not sure if I'll make it again but, I'm glad for the recipe anyways.

Frog Eye Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2008
This was an interesting salad. I gave it three stars because it wasn't horrible but, it wasn't as great as everyone here claimed it to be either. It was okay but, I don't think I'll make it again. It made way too much and I had to toss most of it away even though I did make it for a big get together most people looked at it weird and walked past it.

I put everything together and put it in the oven and burned it to a crisp in 5 minutes. I've never had that problem before.

Seasoned Turkey Burgers

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2008
I am not a vegetarian but, don't eat hamburger meat and just started eating turkey burgers. This recipe is FANTASTIC!!!! I would give it more stars if I could. My husband and I both loved it. I just put it on the George Foreman Grill for 5 or 6 minutes and that was it. I made it was Poor Man's Fried Rice (also on this site and worth it). It's going to be a staple in our house. Thanks so much for the post.

Poor Man's Fried Rice

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2008
This was very good and quick, both my husband and I liked it! It will be a regular staple in our house. You can add any type of vegetable's you desire. I didn't have any green onions so I just used regular white onions and green pepper.

Rayna's Peanut Butter Jammies

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2008
Peanut Butter Jammies ROCK!!!!!! This was a very tasty and different breakfast. This is a quick and filling meal. I put too much jam on mine and made it too heavy to flip but, it was still great! There are so many things you can do to this to make it even better, I added honey and cinnamon to mine and next time I think I'll try it with Marshmallow Creme! Thanks Rayna!

Ham and Beans

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2008
I'm only giving this three stars because I didn't like it. It was so bland, I had to "doctor" it up a bit... and it still wasn't as good as everyone on this site claimed it to be. My husband however liked it and ate most of it.

Thanksgiving in a Dish

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2008
At first I was turned off by everything all together once I got it out of the oven but, when I tried it I was floored! It's everything I love in one bowl and FANTASTIC!! It was easy and fun to make. Thanks so much for the post! Everyone should try this one! I only changed two things about this recipe - I left out the celery because of personal taste and also left out the onion, celery seed and garlic seasoning because I used Jennie-O Cracked Pepper seasoned turkey and it didn't need anything else.

Chicken and Vegetable Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2008
This salad is delicious! I served it to my husband and brother and they both loved it. I did change a little bit of it though. I used Sun-Dried Tomato Chicken Sausage and a green pepper (that's what I had). It was great! I think this salad would be good with pineapple, mandarin oranges, and lots of other stuff. Thanks for sharing!

Rosemarie's Italian Style Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2007
This was kind of bland but, once I got the season's put together it was all right. Something I will make again but, next time I think I will use chopped tomatoes with spices and stuff in it and not whole. It's great if you don't have any money (as I often do) and nothing in the house to eat.

Chicken Jumble

I changed the recipe a bit, I let it simmer with the lid on the skillet, as well as added some roasted garlic tomato sauce. the tomato sauce made it too soupy but, it was still pretty good. My husband loved it so I will probably make it again for him.

Stracciatella I

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2007
This is so delicious! I love soup and wanted something different so, when I found this I couldn't wait to try it and I'm glad I did. It uses things already in your fridge. I changed it a little though; I didn't use the cheese because of allergies, I used Pesto Seasoning in place of the fresh parsley and I added fresh peppercorn too. This will definitely be a staple in my house from now on. Thanks so much Ginny!

Chicken Nuggets

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2007
They took a lot longer than 4 minutes, more like 30 minutes per batch and they came out way too dry. Plus, all I could taste was the corn oil and I only used a little. I tried to bake some of them - BAD IDEA. I won't be making these again.
