Using molasses for the first time, I was baking brownies with a recipe that called for it and after baking it and after mixing and baking it. They came out very soupy, even after baking it extra time.

Scalloped Tomatoes
This was a mess; the brown sugar made the tomatoes bitter. This won't be a repeat in my house.

Banana Split Cake I
Made this for a family get together and everyone raved about it. I did change it a little; I used refrigerated liquid eggs instead of raw eggs...that kinda freaks me out and I didn't beat the butter mixture the whole 20 minutes (I don't think it made a difference). It was still tasty. :)

Salsa Guacamole
This was excellent! It was so quick and easy too. I did (like others) change it a little. I added white onions instead of green (that's what I had) and chopped some fresh tomatoes as well. I also used real garlic cloves and not garlic powder and lime juice instead of lemon. VERY GOOD!
