About this Cook
I am a recent college graduate who loves to run, cook, and hang out with my friends and family. I love trying new things and am adventurous in life and cooking.
My favorite things to cook
Anything that my grandmother has taught me. My favorite would be all the desserts, even though I am not one to eat them... too sweet for me. And all the carb loving foods
My favorite family cooking traditions
My grandmother's food, we just put together a cookbook of all the recipes my grandmother ever used for family gatherings... a whopping over 1000 pages!
My cooking triumphs
Everytime I make something that people enjoy
My cooking tragedies
When I was about 9 I mixed up baking powder and baking soda when making cupcakes and as much as my family tried to fake how much they enjoyed them they finally gave up and spit them out.

Ruth's Roquefort Cheese Ball
I made this for a dinner party and it was a huge hit. I did not have any tabasco or celery so that was not added but I did add in some parsely and garlic and coated with dry roasted almond chunks. So yummy!

Roasted Rack of Lamb
I have not had rack of lamb for 10 years almost and this was just like I remember it to be. Juicy, super tender and outstanding flavor. I did not sear the meat just put into a preheated oven and baked for 30 minutes, came out perfect!

Sauteed Garlic Asparagus
This was sensational. Followed exact recipe but for quickness did this in the microwave and it was sooo yummy. The garlic smell and flavor was totally there. This will be my go to recipe for asparagus
