I love all things cooking, homemaking, entertaining, crafts, family, fun, friends, happiness....etc....etc... Elaborate meals that require timing and forethought. Whole menus (way more fun than just a thrown together 'tuesday' dinner). My aunt's Thanksgiving stuffing. My stepmom's homemade ravioli. My dad's grilled roast. My grandmothers stew. My families holidays are always around food and there are a few traditional recipes that really stand out. My first baking experience ever, was a from scratch homemade (and made-up) cheesecake recipe that came out BEAUTIFULLY and is in the family hall of fame for regular holiday requests now. My husband loves it!!! oh where to start...I can recall steak a'la' hockey puck...and then there's the yellow inedible pork tenderloin. Oh and lets not forget the RAW yams at christmas.
