Cabbage Beef Soup
I feel almost as though I should rate this recipe as I did not follow is exactly. In fact I basically only used it as a base/ IDEA for a recipe. I added A LOT to it because I was not in the mood for runny and I wanted something thicker. I was craving cabbage and chili type dinner.
I added pinto and black beans as i do not like kidney beans, 3/4 of a can of corn (used the rest for corn bread), 8oz of tomato sauce, one can of diced tomatoes, small zucchini, and 1 cup of rice and i used chicken stock instead of the beef cubes and water because i had some on hand that needed to be used up.
it tasted sooooooooooo good. I just melted some cheese on it. I cant wait for the left overs at lunch
