Chocolate Covered Pretzels

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2009
I was melting the chocolate chips before I added the cream. The chocolate was melting nicely (should maybe have stopped there?), and then I added the cream and heated that. Once I started to stir, it hardened up. Save your chocolate chips and find a different recipe!

Fresh Pasta

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2009
This was a very simple recipe. I tried to make one serving only, using 1 egg and 1 cup of flour. It was too dry so I added one more egg and 1 Tbsp of water. That was perfect. It actually made enough fettuccine width noodles for two people. This was my first time making fresh pasta. I rolled it out as thin as I could and used a pizza cutter to cut long strips and this worked just fine. I cooked it for 7 minutes.

Perfect Berry Shortcakes

These turned out so good and so easy to make! I added a dash of cinnamon and one tsp of vanilla, top it with Supreme Strawberry Topping and whip topping and it makes a refreshing dessert!

Supreme Strawberry Topping

This topping is so delicious! I used it to top shortcake. I never thought to put vanilla in the strawberries before! That definitely makes a delicious difference!

Ultimate Grilled Steak

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2008
This was very quick and easy to make and it tasted great. I used 1/3 cup of A1 and 1/3 cup dressing for one very thick rib eye steak. I had some of the marinade left over but I did not pour it on the steak after it cooked. I enjoyed the flavor and I would make it again.

Peanut Butter Bars I

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2008
These were so delicious and so easy to make! I only made a half recipe, and was a tad short of graham crackers so I used 3/4 cup graham cracker and 1/4 cup saltine cracker. So delicious! Not too sweet this way, the saltines and the sweetness mixed perfectly!

Oatmeal Cookie Mix I

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2007
These cookies are excellent! So easy to prepare the main batch and store it. I divided mine up and sealed in a food saver bag. I just took a bag out of the freezer a month later and made the cookies and they turned out perfect! So easy!

Chocolate Mint Cookies I

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2006
WOW! So easy to make. I made two batches using the exact recipe for each and made close to 20 dozen! I made the balls small, half a mint was just enough. I used a melon baller and scooped out just enough to fill the scooper level. Mine were a little flat, but still soft. I would recommend covering the dough when put into the fridge to chill as the dough got a little dry on the top. I ran out of Andes mints, ended up with Junior Mints on the second batch. They are ok. I tried to spread the Junior Mints as I did the Andes mints and they don't spread as well so I just left them sitting on top whole. The cookie was small enough to take a bite and still get half the Junior Mint taste. I definatel will only use Andes mints again, and will definately make these cookies throughout the year! Best cookies ever!!
