Amish Bread
Maybe it's just my bread maker - but the second dough session was too much. I think it was because it beat the dough for too long (as if it was mixing the ingredients for the first time).
I've made it again - and only used the dough setting. Then I removed it from the bread maker punched it down, then let it raise again on my warm oven. Then baked in the oven.
It's a good recipe - but not really a functional bread maker recipe. It's one of those that if you have the time to make it by hand - then that's the way to do it. Otherwise skip it.
