My Kid's Favorite Pork Chops
This is a very good, simple way to do pork chops. I will definitely make this again. I generally followed the recipe except that I sauteed the onions after browning the chops in order to soften them. I also reduced the beer by boiling it to about 1/2 before adding the barbecue sauce. When I make this again, I may omit the steak seasoning. I would only use the seasoning if I had a very mild barbecue sauce.

Chicken Pasta Salad II
I made this for my family omitting the mushrooms and using black olives instead of green. Everyone enjoyed it. It is very versatile. It is my go to recipe for pasta salad now. I liked the combination of mayo and Italian dressing. It is more mellow than a straight Italian dressing and has more zip than straight mayo.

Split Pea and Sausage Soup
A lot of good flavor considering how simple this recipe is. I used yellow split peas and a 32 ounce box of chicken broth, but otherwise followed the recipe. I found I did not need to add salt. I recommend no extra salt until the soup is cooked and you can taste for seasoning.
